These are the spectacular, fragrant pansies formerly known as Miltonia. The pansy or Columbian type Miltonia species are now called Miltoniopsis even though the hybrids remain Miltonia. We have many selected clones. The velvet colors range from purest white to deep glowing reds. Gaudy waterfalls are an added attraction. These are a little more challenging to grow as they will not tolerate 28C + temperatures for weeks at a time. Good humidity is a must. They thrive in sphagnum and intermediate light. If their roots are kept cool they will tolerate heat much better. Definitely worth a try.
The Brazilian Miltonias have a different shape, require bright light and will tolerate higher temperatures.
